Dalicia Raymond

Dalicia RaymondDalicia Raymond is a first year PhD in Medieval Studies. She comes to UNM from Oregon State University where she received her MA in English and did her undergraduate work. She is interested in magic, monsters, witches, and otherness in medieval literature, and in medievalism, especially in popular children’s literature. Previously, she has written on the connections between otherness and magic in Sir Gawain and the Green Knight and in Harry Potter. In her free time, she enjoys playing frisbee with her chocolate lab, as well as cooking and hiking with her husband.
