Jessica TroyJessica Troy is a doctoral student in the English department with a concentration in Medieval Studies and the current Vice President of the MSSA. As an Anglo-Saxonist, Jessica focuses on the macabre and monstrous of the Middle Ages. Ghosts, the undead, supernatural creatures, demons, and necromancers are all within the scope of her research interests. The paper she is delivering today will also be given at the Othello’s Island conference in Cyprus in March 2015, so she welcomes any and all questions and suggestions.
