Maggie Waring is starting her first semester of graduate school, studying Medieval and Early Modern Europe. As a child and as an adult, authors such as J.R.R. Tolkien, C.S. Lewis, and Stephen R. Lawhead sparked her fascination with fantasies based in the Middle Ages. Consequently, her main historical interest is medieval Europe.
